...I am so not going to ruin this movie for anyone by spoiling it. But just so you know, my brother and I haven't laughed so much while watching a Bollywood film for eons. By the end of Milenge Milenge if tears aren't streaming down your face and your stomach isn't hurting then you didn't pay proper attention :P

The best bit was realising we saw this movie on 07/07/11 ...cracked us up so badly (if you have seen the movie you'll know why).

Anyway, here's a trailer, but remember - kuch to baakiii haiiiiiiiiii (haan, picture ki common sense, jo writer usmein dalna bhool gaya)

The Jhola & Hoodie Bros.: Singing about your toote dil ka haal (broken heart) in style since, well actually this is the first time ...but we hope it isn't the last.

Angst: If you haven't done it this way you ain't doin' it right
Now available as a 12 month wall calendar for woe-inspiring purposes.

Maybe a re-watch is in order then ;P

That or brother and I were feeling rather giggly when watching this one.

I don't remember laughing through this, but I do remember lots of "ਕੀ ਤੇ ਫ਼ਰਕ (की ते फ़र्क)" moments. Mere sapnon ki rani and I watched this for the joDi, of course, and because we both quite liked Serendipity but found it a bizarre disjointed mishmash. Shahid's character in the first half was nothing but a grade-a गधा का गड्‍ढा even by the bizarre standards accepted in filmi heroes. Then in the 2nd half, a completely different film, basically a scene-by-scene remake of Serendipity, with no continuity, no sense, and certainly none of the whimsy that, for us, made that film likable.

Just me and brother then it seems... I don't know, we seemed to roll off into peals of laughter at every other scene.

The disjointed narrative is understandable because the film had like a 5 year delay and I assume some scenes (I'm thinking the second half of the movie) were shot post JWM/The Breakup. I don't know if this was the script the entire time or if they kinda improvised because Shahid and Kareena wouldn't shoot together.

Yep Shahid's character was a complete jerk and a creep and a lowlife. I heard that the lift and book thing was lifted from Serendipity but didn't realise that a lot of other scenes were too.
